OzzieComm Posted March 2, 2014 Report Posted March 2, 2014 Hi All, when using the Torres calc and where it says under "Misc" "Displacements" and "Bracing" is that the volume of the internal bracing for the box? Such as bracing from back of the box to the front WxHxD of the material used? Thxs Mike. nothing to see here...
Joe X Posted March 2, 2014 Report Posted March 2, 2014 Displacements for this is anything that's inside the box taking up airspace, typically, port, sub, braces, the port displacement is taken care by the program so you don't need to declare it just sub and braces.
OzzieComm Posted March 3, 2014 Author Report Posted March 3, 2014 Thanks Joe, for the displacements I use sq inches right? (We use mm in Australia) nothing to see here...
Joe X Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 The latest version of the program lets you choose your working units, I know it works on English units but I have not tested it in metric units. Of you are using the program in English units, displacements are in cubic feet.
