Gates Green Belt is prefer but the MicroV (what I personally use) is one of those that come in 2nd place.. If they don't make the Green one in the size you need. Hammer Knock Posted March 5, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 5, 2014 ok so, with what i will have as far as my batterys and amp. the amperage of the alt he is talking about will do the job? becuase im trying to find somebody i will never really have to replace to upgrade from. im not sure on how amperage really works to be honest. one of the things that never really got explained to me very well. and will a xs 6500 and a xs 3100 be enough for the opti6k? i have stock batt + xs 6500 and depending on the song it will drain me low enough to where my deck doesn't have enough remote power to keep the amp on. when i get the xs 3100, i will be taking out the stock car batt. if the car doesn't stall, you have enough voltage.
