those rear panels should turn out well. should sound well too. what are you using to push those speakers that are in the rear?

Right now I just got a pioneer 2 ch amp that I have had laying around for sometime, I will upload a pic soon. It Should have no problem putting out 200 Watts to push them. I don't know if you seen I moved all my batteries down into my wheel well. So I plan on finding 2 compact amps to throw below the amp rack where the batteries were to push my components and those 8s. These mid bass 8s only require about.33 cu ft sealed so this is the reason why im sealing the actual door panel itself.
Nice. Have you seen the new Soundstream stealth amps. they are tiny as hell.

the nano or picaso or w/e? yeah something like that would be awesome they are pretty efficient.

SO I DID A FEW FIBERGLASS STRIPS ON THE BACK OF THE PANEL TO STRENGHTEN UP THE WEAK SPOTS AND STARTED SANDING THE PRIMER . YOU CAN SEE THE SPOTS WHERE I SANDED INTO THE BONDO AND THERE IS STILL BLACK PRIMER, SHOWS THE SPOTS I NEED TO FOCUS TO GET IT ALL SMOOTH AND 1 COLOR. GONNA DO ANOTHER COAT OF PRIMER FILLER AND SAND IT SAND IT SOME MORE.

A little bit of bondo goes a long way. Nice thin coats are alot easier to smooth out.

Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do that
I can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows

came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream.

oh lawd.

The problem I kept having was after I added the hardener and mixed the bondo, I started applying and it was drying up to fast, that's why I had some really rough spots. so I tried smaller batches and it helped a little. idk if I added to much hardener or what. anyways when I was sanding I was hitting the fiberglass in a few spots so I kinda wanted a thick layer of bondo. idk you can definitely tell this is a first time learning experience. :lol2:

Thanks, yeah being my first time doing this its costing me a ton of coats of filler and primer and then the sanding but I have to get them smooth, so if it takes me a few more coats I gotta do what I gotta do. just going through my pictures I can see how rough I had them looking, maybe next time I can get them much smoother to begin with.
