I know these amps are overpriced but I was friends with an aufio shop owner who closed up shop and he gave me these at dealer cost. I built this one to rockford recommended specs for high output slot vent ..I also built a smaller rockford recommended aero port enclosure. Its a t2d215 just blew recently..gains were set with dd1.gnd continuity checked with a ddm idk what went wrong..the amp is still fine. To answer your question I want to go with a sundown x-18 I think I can manage the box if I make the baffle angled and put the box together inside the trunk. The reason I picked 18 is because I figured out an 18 has more cone area than two 12s. And because I dont want to use more power. I plan to have the sub firing forward and trunk sealed off.
