JEFFYBOI
So I got a amp rated 2500w @ 2 ohm load. Im wondering if im doing this correctly, power=voltage^2/resistance? So 2500W=Voltage^2/2...2500 x 2= 5000 square root of 5000 is 70.71 volts on my speaker output, So if my speaker output is seeing 70.71 does this mean my subs are each getting 1250 W a piece? Sorry im not a math expert. JEFFYBOI
Also my subs are 1000W rms each would I be safer calculating off what the subs are rated for so my voltage output would be 63.24V output so each sub is seeing 1000w each? bbeljefe
That's correct and no, there is no reason to back off the output of the amp. Overpowering your subs by 25% is safe. JEFFYBOI
Yes I remember to set my meter to AC voltage. Thanks "Toyota Camry rebuild page 21 (link)http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183768-94-crossfire-camry-18s-walled-singer-alt-has-arrived-rebuild-starts-pg-10/page-21 PIONEER DEH-P8400BH 2 CROSSFIRE C5 1700D 2 CROSSFIRE C7 18 HOOD. JEFFYBOI
Now my voltage out varies depending on what frequency im playing... On my HU playing about 50 hz is where I see the highest voltage... What Frequency do you suggest using to tune the amp? I know the DD1 uses 40 hz right?
