Mikey Bates
01 vw gti. Primarily show car and track, but basically going all 3 sound speed and style lol. Going for loud but not SPL. Primarily metal music. A consideration is from the front seats to the trunk the car will be fully hardwood floored. Not sure on most practical box setup but most likely will be bolt down near the rear. Going to be running a 2k, not sure on subs or sizes and especially box tuning. Thought about some lvl 3 10s or 12s, or fi Q 10s or 12s as well but haven't had experience in either when it comes to metal style music

Aj11
i know the fi q is the sound quality line. and if you add the high qts they do very well in sealed boxes. that should give you the tight drum bass your looking for. also the sundown x series has great sq as well. Mikey Bates
Wondering what some good sub options are as well as some ported box tunings or sealed. And also sub size and number! Thanks

CleanSierra
Have you measured to even know what fits properly? That will determine the size and amount of subs to be used. 2 Fi SSDs would be a good option in the power range you're wanting to run. The Sundown X would be another good option. You could try running a single 12" X in a bandpass 4th. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
stroupe79
I would consider 2 10s or a single 12 in a 4th...plenty of room in the hatch for that I would suspect http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
Aj11
it depends on how much space your willing to give up. and how much you want to weigh the car Down on the track. if i were you i Would go with a i q 12 in a vented box tuned to 33hz about 2.5cubes net put a clean 1500w to it and call it a day. that will give you everything your looking for. if you don't want to take up all that space go with a 10 or 12 fi q sealed around 1.5 gross put 1500w to it And call it a day. either way it will make your sub stage come to life and you won't be disappointed! jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
jarrius
If you want to take it down a track IMO don't put a system in it unless you plan on taking it out every time you run and put it back in afterwords. 2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d 140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed) 140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL 142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at) 141 on music. strangeduck,on 02 Jan 2014 - 01:39 AM, said: when my car spins out i just put the car in neutral, turn in the direction i want to go and pucker my asshole
