I was wondering if I could gain many dbs if I make a second box for burps... tuned as high as necessary for spl...Will it be worth my time? I want numbers out of this second box...my whole system is in my sig. A vitrolic, megalomaniacal sadistic psychopath.

Well in a sense, but that was when I was trying to solve a problem, now I just want to be loud Can I really gain ALOT of dbs from a higher tuned box? I would say you should gain about 4 or 5 db from a new box but it would be for spl only. you could NOT play music with it. Spend money?? It would be about $30 in materials and 30 minutes of time. And for 4 to 5 db I would love a fartbox lol... I would still keep mine for music and burp on the new one. A vitrolic, megalomaniacal sadistic psychopath.
Decaf Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 switchable port on new box ftw tuned to 32 and 40-47 u should find the peak frequency in ur car and tune next fart box or switchable port box in relation to the peak ie: peak of 47 in car, tuned spl port to ~38-44 all thread, double baffle, 45 corners..... lotta spl!
