MACnonsence6
k guys so i recently added another 4 channel amp to the car making 2 so what i did was bridged each one at 4 ohms making each now a 150 rms x 2 so i have one up for the front one for the rear speakers. gain matched. now after adding the 2nd amp i have really bad alternator whine something i have never had before. atm things are kinda just thrown together for tuning and such. what can cause this. the rcas on the amp are pretty close to the + of a battery thats the only thing i could think of that would cause this. but just in case what other things can I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.

MACnonsence6
my bad i didnt know you had to move them i usually try and keep everything where it should be but if its something i feel is urgent ill go to gernal cause ik more people look there. i ran diff power and ground to where the original amp was before. and still same issue it then grounded my rca for one amp and it got rid of most of it theres still slight whine there. but i didnt have any before so i dont understand even when hooking up the other amp in 4 chan still same . i even unhooked everything and ran from the sub rca same whine. im not sure what could cause this nothing has really changed exept adding that new amp and even now when its unhooked rca wise i still get the whine using diff inputs perhaps it is the amp back feeding threw the deck is that even possible? I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz.
