I think voltage drop had a lot to do with it. At idle I was charging around 18v, and would drop to 12s. Still with the amps turned down and no testing any frequencies it did a 155.6 @ 35hz and a 157.3 @ 40hz. Used a SMD AMM-1 to see my true power and at 40hz I got 8446w,35hz made just over 9k, and tried it a second time @ 40hz and got 7961w. jeffrm Posted October 19, 2014 Author Report Posted October 19, 2014 And since those numbers, ive added an extra run for the 16v, added more sky high 8ga so I can run gain matched instead of strapped. With the amps still strapped and the extra run, it helped my voltage tremendously. Was going from 18-18.5v to 12-13s full tilt. Added the extra run and now full tilt drops from 18-18.5v to mid 16s. Had a problem with one of my amps so its off for repair, but once it gets back ill be gain matching and turning it up. The 158.5 was still turned down.
