Modernizing the sound in my supra Q/A

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to modernize my 1987 Supra to have decent sound. After being spoiled by my 2008 IS-F with ML sound SQ. VS my supra it's like like hearing when for the first time.

First i'll start with the item choices that I have found.

AMP

MB Quart QA1100.5 - $174 Amazon

Can't find much info on the internet at all about it, I know MB Quart used to be a good name but I heard since they are no longer german they were no longer good. I believe SMD is a MB Quart fan?

Planet Audio AC1800.5 - $132 Amazon

Cheapest amp on amazon, probably not the greatest quality but for the price and the review on Amazon I'm not sure if the 50$ for the MB Quart is worth it.

Clarion Mobile XC1410 - $89 Amazon

If i was to purchase this, it would only power the component R/L and rears I would get a monoblock for the sub.

Speakers

Front R/L

Clarion SRG1623S - 6.5" components $51.72 Amazon

I've always liked clarion they have never let me down and I have a inside hook up which can probably get me these for cheaper than amazon

Kenwood -KFC-P709PS $68.36 - Amazon

Just had high rating on amazon other than that don't know anything about them.

Kicker 40C654 - $69.95 - Amazon

Heard these at a audio demo at a shop sounded pretty nice.

Rear fillers

Clarion SRG1023R - 4" coaxial speakers $30.97 Amazon

Sub

Not sure was thinking the Clarion especially since it has a DVC and can take a 4 ohm VC down to 2 if you wire parallel.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I said, I'm not looking for anything crazy, I listen to pop, alternative, rock and some old 90's dance. I will be using the stock speaker baffles and not sure if I should get a sub in a box in the back or a underseat sub like the clarion srv250 or the kicker one to make life easy.

Thanks!

I wouldn't put too much backing on reviews from amazon.... I also wouldn't settle for Clarion because you have a hook up with them. You gotta hear different setups in order to make a good judgement. Swing by your local audio shop and see what they have (besides kickers). And as always, you get what you pay for.
