Raspberry Pi

Recommended Posts

Hey guys looking for a little help if anyone can. I just picked up a Raspberry Pi board and case. Plan to run OpenElec or RaspBMC for the os in a car media center with a small 7" touch screen. Plan to hardwire the power supply to the car and using a couple 512gb flash drives for storage of music and movies. Also plan to use a wireless mini remote keyboard. I want to wire the sound out to the Aux input on the rear of my HU. Does anyone have any input or suggestions, help, reviews, anything is appreciated.

Thanks, Mod

nothing to add, but tuned in for responses. I thought about this exact thing awhile back, a small carputer to manage media easily.

I used a pc in my last build and loved it. had a small 80 gb ssd for the operating system and programs 4gb ram and windows 7 and a 500 gb external for music and whatnot. just get a rca to 3.5mm wire to connect it to your head unit
