timc31610 Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 Nothing, decent wire is the first place to start along with the big 3 upgrade and a decent AGM battery. Try that. Guest Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 in order from most expensive to least expensive high output alt. get HID's. get a better amp ground
PortSideAudio Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 Audio: First thing is build your own box if you didn't already, design it and tune it to what ever you want. Have fun with this haha. then if you are up to it I would deaden your car, this is a lot of work and takes time, but its worth it. If your ok with doing this I would highly suggest doing this. Power: Upgrade to high output alternator and run good OFC 0 AWG wire first (I would suggest Knukonceptz, or Sky High audio)! On the 0 AWG wire use a 250 amp ANL fuse on the zero gauge. That amp can handle an 2 AWG input, so get a distro block that goes from 0 to 2 AWG wire. On the 2 AWG wire run a 200 amp ANL fuse (only on hot wire). Then second if you still have money go with two more batteries, one is to replace you car battery, the second is just a second battery. Go to XS powers site and check out their battery, they will also recommend batteries for your specific car. 2002 Toyota Corolla Pioneer DEH-80PRS Soundqubed Q1-2200d Soundqubed HDC3.118 Soundqubed Q4-120 Alpine SPR-60 Alpine SPR-60C

He should run 0 gauge from his battery to the second battery (well assuming price isn't an issue and he is running a second battery), but yeah in that case 4 gauge will be fine for going to the amp. P.S. I read audioque as audiopipe at first and got a little scared haha. 2002 Toyota Corolla Pioneer DEH-80PRS Soundqubed Q1-2200d Soundqubed HDC3.118 Soundqubed Q4-120 Alpine SPR-60 Alpine SPR-60C

Skax Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 So with hooking up this second battery will alll the wiring thats under the hood just go to the xs battery in my hatch if I buy it? Srry for lack of knowledge as to my knowledge you shouldnt mix the battery under hood with a XS battery since the XS is AGM and the one under hood is something different (forgot what its called) if anything if your trying to be on a budget i would replace the battery under the hood with the biggest XS you can fit 2002 Mustang GT Procharged Procharger P1SC Supercharger, 8psi Procharger Intercooler, Headers, Borla Off Road X-Pipe Exhaust, Mass Airflow Upgraded Fuel Injectors SCT Flash Chip (Excaliber II), Throttle Body, Lowering Springs, Carbon Fiber Hood -Front 275/40ZR17 -Rear 315/35ZR17 5.0 Short Shifter 3.55 Gears
