CleanSierra Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 Question: Why would you run that amp at half ohm to get 4000 Watts, when you could run it at 1 ohm and get the 2600W? 2600W is right on for two subs rated at 1250W. If you get 2 subs with D2 coils, you'll be able to run 2 ohm final load or half. If you get D1 or D4 subs, you can run 1 or 4 ohms for your final load. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Joe X Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 Not that I don't understand you need space, if you want an efficient box like your previous build, it would take around 20x47x24 and 5" clearance to the tail gate, width can be exchanged for height or depth. You be the judge though, which you liked better, the little one you built from Sundown's site or the larger one you just finished.
