tiny update, been busy with work, which you'd think would mean money.. but it doesn't. need to pay the courts what i would be spending on an alternator and battery or miss/high set up :'( lol

so my box didn't have a floor previously. it stayed over the spare tire well decently. until a while later it was sliding down a lot. so i cut my old false floor i made and slid it under it. works nice.

got the volt meter wired up, figured out generously enough!! that you can just put a switch in the power wire. awesome. still need to fuse it though… uhoh

then i did the eld bypass, works nice however i don't need it that much i noticed once i got the volt meter running. it only kicks in if I'm driving of a while. and i do mainly 20 min long drive tops. so ill occasionally see it kick in then. i read a lot that it'll kick in 5 min.. lol guess I'm lucky?

decided to redo my head unit wiring harness, electrical tape was ugly

IMG_1071_zps48325a6e.jpg

this was weird, i had this nice and tight and popped my hood one day and it was like this, but still pretty tight, but would come off with a little force. no idea what caused it. good thing it wasny my power! haha

IMG_1307_zpsf918316f.jpg

bought some heat shrink of rmy dual inputs, i didn't like the feeling of having them so close together and nothing protecting a short. and the dual inputs don't have any sort of hole in it for the screw to set into. it is still tight but still. worrisome. the dual inputs look sad though without dual wires haha! it'll come eventually

then i had an issue with a coolant leak. couldn't find it anywhere. thought it was the heater core. got halfway through my dash and i learned i need a steering wheel puller to take off the steering wheel… great. so thats post poned but i had my seats out, shit why not take out the rest of the interior and sound deaden as much as i can before i have work in two days..

got my floor done with two layers except one spot on the passenger side that gets mildly damp sometimes. idk why and its not coolant. probably a bad seal somewhere.

also got done my rear side wall areas like 3 layers and my roof as much as i could. 3/4 of it is taken up my the moon roof. and the rest is hard to reach so i got like 3 layer on there. might put more in the future. also got a leyere going on my doors. going to put more on there once i get components.

some flicks of it gutted lol

so thats it. i have some weird noise from my bottom right passenger side area. unsure if it is my head unit putting out some static, but its only when i accelerate. and rarely occurs shortly after accelerating. so going to unplug all my power and ground and head unit and see if it persists. I'm not sure if i hope it does or hope it doesn't. because both means i need to fix something :( lol oh well.

hey if you know stuff about enclosures and porting and stuff, i got a thread that people seem to like to view but not give input. its over in the enclosure sub forum!

forgot to upload this. I'm not sure if it'll link a video straight here though. we will see...

never had my windows flap before so it bought it was cool. the box can actually play low pretty well. i get worried about it though and don't play low much cause i can't find what subsonic setting to set a sealed box at, or infrasonic… but yeah people say don't leave it at 10hz/no filter. so i bumped it up a little bit past 10, I'm going to assume its around 15 or so because it still flexes on that frequency in that song. input appreciated

You really don't need a steering wheel puller. Just gently wiggly that isht side to side. It'll eventually come off. If you do it too hard you'll damage the srs coil thingy behind it and it'll unwind right in front of your eyes. Take your time.
