mrd6
By 25 watts, so 125 RMS total. Im still in the process of looking so I havent comitted yet. That difference will be negligible, go for it! The thing to remember is that more often than not, damage to Mids and highs is mechanical. It's very rare to blow a mid or tweet due to thermal failure. This is why install is so important. Don't cross your tweets to low, and make sure your Mids are installed/crossed correctly and you could probably run double rms to that set without a problem. Since you are running passive you have a bit less control of those parameters (tweeter filter settings) so you may want to be a bit more conservative than that. But as kraken said, you can always turn a larger amp down, but you can't turn a smLler amp up! 14Fusion
Awesome. Thanks guys, I believe that has answered everything. Luckily for me the higher wattage amp is cheaper. (And as seen from some AD-1 tests is infact true RMS not just lies)
