mrd6 Posted April 15, 2014 Report Share Posted April 15, 2014 If you insist on using the 4gauge please at least make sure you fuse it properly so that when the amp tries to draw more current than the wire can handle (and it will as soon as you turn it up), the fuse blows rather than the wire starting a fire and burning your entire car to the ground. If your cousin doesn't know where or how to fuse safely come back here for help!
