Wood
Very nice, I might have to try this out with my shit. Looks alot safer than tinting and a whole lot better. It is by far! I used to do the whole tinting deal and running 30k super blue hid bulbs back in the gap, but after a while you start to realize you cant see shit lol.. This way is not only safer and provide more visibility, but its CUSTOM! My headlights are the highlight of my car.. without them it would look like a normal Altima with rims.. but with the headlights, my car scream custom.. Also if you didn't want to spend the money on retrofitting, just bake open your headlights to paint the bezels.. and it will look like you tinted them 2011 Nissan Altima aka Red Ruby HEADUNIT: Pioneer AVH X2700BS ELECTRICAL: -Singer 230a -Northstar gr34 -(2) Northstar SMS220 w/ Custom Terminals from 12V Metalworkz -100% Welding Cable FRONT STAGE:-(2 Sets) Hertz HSK165 -Hertz HSK130 -Ampere Audio 125.4 SUB STAGE: -(3) Sundown Audio SA REV2 12's -Ampere Audio 3800.1 V2 MISC (NON AUDIO RELATED): -Interior & Exterior Lights LED -Gloss Black Roof (PAINTED) -15% Front, 5% Rear Tint -Roof Spoiler -20" TSW Snettertons (20x8.5 front, 20x10 rear) -Custom Projector Retrofit (FX-R 3.0, 6.5k HID, Morimoto Mini H1 (faux projector), Quad Starry Night Halos) ----- COMING SOON!! -Aftermarket Fog Lights -Custom Painted Engine Covers My Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/169869-woods-2011-altima-aka-red-ruby-new-video-more-updates/page-109 Retrofit Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/185787-hid-projector-retrofitting-diy-by-wood/#entry2765346

Wood
It's time for ANOTHER ONE *dj khaled tone* lol Will be reviving this thread within the next week with some updates... Took my retro apart and will be doing some cosmetic changes, such as repainting (having my friend that painted my car paint the headlight parts)... Also decided to run a quad projector setup in which I will be running a Morimoto Mini H1 in the high beam area... It will be used as a faux projector, only for cosmetic reasons as it is HARD to line up for projectors... but if I do ever decided to take on the challenge, it will be available to me!! Also I'll be running mini gatlin gun shrouds for the mini's.. The main reason for the faux projector is for me to be able to run quad halos as well!! I will be running the Starry Night Halos, which are RGB halos with a show mode... (I'll include a video of them in action) Last of the cosmetic changes will be me running 6k bulbs in my setup this time to try and get more color out of my setup... The good thing about the 6.5k bulbs is they still are plenty white on the road, but from a distance they have a real nice hue to them... Also to add one last touch to my overall lighting, I decided to finally install my after market fog lights. I used the new LED HID kits they have out now, which the LED is supposed to produce close to a 6k bulb... With everything lit, it will look nice and light up plenty of the road when driving at night!! 2011 Nissan Altima aka Red Ruby HEADUNIT: Pioneer AVH X2700BS ELECTRICAL: -Singer 230a -Northstar gr34 -(2) Northstar SMS220 w/ Custom Terminals from 12V Metalworkz -100% Welding Cable FRONT STAGE:-(2 Sets) Hertz HSK165 -Hertz HSK130 -Ampere Audio 125.4 SUB STAGE: -(3) Sundown Audio SA REV2 12's -Ampere Audio 3800.1 V2 MISC (NON AUDIO RELATED): -Interior & Exterior Lights LED -Gloss Black Roof (PAINTED) -15% Front, 5% Rear Tint -Roof Spoiler -20" TSW Snettertons (20x8.5 front, 20x10 rear) -Custom Projector Retrofit (FX-R 3.0, 6.5k HID, Morimoto Mini H1 (faux projector), Quad Starry Night Halos) ----- COMING SOON!! -Aftermarket Fog Lights -Custom Painted Engine Covers My Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/169869-woods-2011-altima-aka-red-ruby-new-video-more-updates/page-109 Retrofit Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/185787-hid-projector-retrofitting-diy-by-wood/#entry2765346
Wood
Here is some pictures of the additional products I'm adding to my lights... Haven't got pics of the Starry Night Halos (I do have them), but those will be pictured as I start the rebuild process.. These are the Morimoto Mini H1 I will use as faux projectors in the high beam area, with Mini Gatlin Gun shrouds These are the 6k bulbs I will be using to replace the 5.5k Already have my headlight uninstalled and pulled apart!! I also have all parts sanded right now, which I will throw in the updates when I get more progress.. they'll be going into paint this weekend!! Installed the aftermarket fog light kit and upgraded the bulb to the H11 LED HID bulbs.. The switch is too small for the factory switch hole (it looks bigger, but the mounting tab area is smaller), so I will be fabricating the switch to fit inside the "blank" that was used to cover the unused switch in the trim 2011 Nissan Altima aka Red Ruby HEADUNIT: Pioneer AVH X2700BS ELECTRICAL: -Singer 230a -Northstar gr34 -(2) Northstar SMS220 w/ Custom Terminals from 12V Metalworkz -100% Welding Cable FRONT STAGE:-(2 Sets) Hertz HSK165 -Hertz HSK130 -Ampere Audio 125.4 SUB STAGE: -(3) Sundown Audio SA REV2 12's -Ampere Audio 3800.1 V2 MISC (NON AUDIO RELATED): -Interior & Exterior Lights LED -Gloss Black Roof (PAINTED) -15% Front, 5% Rear Tint -Roof Spoiler -20" TSW Snettertons (20x8.5 front, 20x10 rear) -Custom Projector Retrofit (FX-R 3.0, 6.5k HID, Morimoto Mini H1 (faux projector), Quad Starry Night Halos) ----- COMING SOON!! -Aftermarket Fog Lights -Custom Painted Engine Covers My Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/169869-woods-2011-altima-aka-red-ruby-new-video-more-updates/page-109 Retrofit Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/185787-hid-projector-retrofitting-diy-by-wood/#entry2765346
