2 hds212 box help (Joe X?)

so a few weeks ago Joe X made me a great design based on the info i gave him, i finally get the box complete and cant get it to fit in my trunk. im a dumbass i know. any ways the numbers i gave him to work with were 36-24-16. at 16 height the box barely fits the trunk opening but halfway through the box hits the bottom and gets stuck. so maybe if i brought that down to 14 it would make it easier. the 24 for depth can be adjusted alittle up to 27-28 if need be. SQ subs require alot of space so the smallest it could be is 4 cu ft (im assuming). tuning from 32-36 is fine if some one, possibly joe x do me a favor once again and design me an enclosure with the max dimensions of 36 width 14 height and the depth could be played with in order to get the proper volume and tuning. thanks alot i appreciate is.

can you get it in thru the driver door to the back seat? does your seat fold down to the trunk

its a lexus the back seat doesnt fold down. its so frustrating the box literally goes in the opening and i can get half of it thru but cant get it to fully drop in

You can fully unbolt the back seats to see if it fits that way, if not here's a new spec, power: to subs rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, port clearance 6 1/4", right, do the cardboard dummy first, if it needs to be changed I will gladly do it:

my seats don't fold Down either but your rear seats can be removed. Also have you removed the Carpet and spare tire. I've had a similar problem and taking the rear tire out usually does the trick. it gives you that Lil extra dip to work with.

thanks joe, im gonna try to see if i can unbolt the back seats first if not its rebuild time. Aj 11 yeah i removed the carpet false floor and tire and almost got it, but it wasnt enough

you remove the trunk latch to? i hope the rear seats will allow it Man. I've had this problem with my Saturn once. bought a prefab and it wouldn't fit. gave after a hour of trying. the next day i was gonna return the box and one of my friends said wait lets try one more time. im glad we did because with both of we could move the box easier and got it in. had to break it to get it back out but that was 2 years later

hmm trunk latch i have not removed. i removed all of the plastic trimming around it. but if the actual metal trunk latch removes that maybe just enough.
