Id still try to get a piece of 1/2" mdf cut to the exact shape and put it there, but don't think you'd lose or gain much. Sides and upper corners need to be solid, though, pretty big gaps. its gonna be trimmed off on top with 3/4 birch that is the contour of the roof line? is that what you mean or should i shove like another "top" piece in?

Instead of taking a pos and neg from each coil i connected the pos neg of one coil. does that make sense? i tihnk i need to remove the top 4 and rewire because im an idiot unless what i did is correct. below is the wiring scheme and post what i did in a sec. also i have a DD m4 on the way!

Idk if there's a diff lol never thought about it before edit: i replaced my drawing to mimic 12 volts diagram and drew what i did... if only i wasnt a dumbass.
