Its a little more efficient on lower watts than the aluminum coil sub. Guest Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 from what i've heard, aluminum will handle more power (talking like over 2000w here), but copper will make the woofer sound a little (negligible?) better.

Marquisboys Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 Well its just this, ppl recommend SA, Soundqubed, FI, etc because those brands have great subs for what you pay. Why not pay 79 dollars more for a hdc315 rather than the 500w strato subwoofer for around 200. SA and all those other brands ppl alway mention can be proven to be better if installed correctly. Its all about the install. Sure a CT Strato may be better in someone elses car that has a SA 15 that is installed shitty. I like to get subs that you rarely see but are known to be awesome. I have not been to one sound comp and seen a mayhem like mine.
