Verlaist Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 So I bought myself some new gear on Birthday...... DD 9515 SC (2) D4's and M4a. Was under the impression at the time I should wire to 1ohm. Since then I clamped my setup just under 2900 at around 2.5-3Ohm. So my question is should I stick with this and focus on my electrical (list below), or get 2 more bats and get the rebuild. I already spent a ton on the new amp and subs. Its loud, but I am disappointed in the wattage clamp. Electrical: 1 run 1/0 pos/neg to back all 1/0 to amp form back bank 2 Kinetik HC2400 and XS 5100 with a stock under hood Mechman 240a alt Other gear DD C5C Alpine W927 deck Audison Voce fronts 2002 Forester Alpine INE-W927HD, Hertz Mille Legend 3 way 2 DC Level 6's,Bit One Audio , Audison Voce Due and Quattro, 4 Twisted Sounds 3.5K, 8 G31 Batteries, DC Power XP 270 Alternator. If my electrical needs attn before i run it at 5200-7k Then I would attack that first. Then worry about the rebuild of the woofers. Id have to take a hard look at my enclosure and all the other details before I spent the money on recones. Plan is to add a XS d1200 up front and a 185 ah bat to back to back. Another run of 1/0.
