i just got my new soundquebd hds3 12's in the mail today and i'm needing all the help i can get building a box. this is the first box i've ever attempted to build i can't figure out the sketch up programs. they confuse me to death and i have panic attacts trying to figure it out lol no joke. i'm putting these in a 96 ex.cab s10 and gunna be powering them with a brx2000.1d amp i listen to a lot of 3-6 mafia and all their solo albums. so i'm wanting it tuned at around 30hz if someone could please help me and give me a cut sheet list of all the sides and port and a few blueprint pictures so i can see how to go about doing it that'd be so greatly appreciated. i'm also wanting the subs to be on top of the box facing the roof and the port to be facing the seats. please someone please help me. i'm new to doing my own builds and i really can't afford to drop $200-$300 for someone to build it for me so i'm going to attempt to build it myself but really need help getting the design and i've heard that the re box calculator is way off so please someone help me thank you so much.

your probably gonna spend at least 200 building it yourself if you do it right. about 3 sheets .75 mdf 100.00 ,screws 7.00,glue 7.00 thats a total of 114.00 without adding for carpet or paint, and I'm guessing you have all the tools already tape measure,drill,saw,square,clamps,ect....

ok can't help you with a cut sheet, but somebody on the forum might be willing to help you with that. when and if they do be grateful and take your time building your box.measure twice cut once. i know it may sound dumb but one little mis cut here or there and your out more money buying more sheets of mdf

lol, 3 sheets of mdf for a box for 2 12's, cut smart and you'll get away with 1, while still double baffling where the subs are.

Have you tried using torres? it's as straight forward as a box calc gets.

c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old.

i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer.

no problem. but whoever might give you some help with your box is going to want to know what your maximum available space is in your vehicle before they can help

Do you have a dd1 or someone you know with one

Because you'll be close to max rms with that amp

And any clipping will fry them

Do you have your elec sorted for that 2k amp

Idd aim for 4net 60sq" of port

As far as tunning with what you like idd aim for 30flat
