iKidwell Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 Alright, I have a g35, I've got some temp subs in right now, but in the next day or two i'm debating between 1 ~1k rms 15 or 2 ~600 rms 12's, and I'm debating on firing forward and sealing off the trunk or not. The reason i'm debating on doing this is because my seats don't fold down. I have a hole from the armrest that is probably like 6"x18". My only question is that if i seal off the box and fire forward, is this going to create some fucked up 4th order and sound terrible? I really don't want to seal off and then have that happen and have to rip it all out. Also, car is a sedan. c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress
cgrez33 Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 If I were you I'd do subs up port driver side (If you're trunk is deadened heavily) if not subs back port back. Current Build: 1999 Tahoe #ComingSoon Previous Build(s): Crossfire Magnum 5k Pontiac G6 GT
