SMF93 Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 If your considering purchasing one I would rethink your options, preferably one of higher quality

SMF93 Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 How much are you getting it for? Do a little research they are cheap amps and don't do rated power
cgrez33 Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 It's trash Current Build: 1999 Tahoe #ComingSoon Previous Build(s): Crossfire Magnum 5k Pontiac G6 GT
mattie Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 If your getting them next to nothing go for it. Use Google cause there's fanboys on all forums and Yes I do run one of the older planet audio amps. From what I've read....so do your own research....the long black surf board style 2400 wont do rated but will put out some power and are power hungry. If that 4000 is the newer style with the brushed aluminum accents I couldn't tell you anything about them. Curious though......what is "next to nothing"
Guest Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 bought it for $200 from caco. feet break off because shitty plastic. fan on its last legs. when it was powered up it was whining. sat under my bed and then sold it. bought like $15 worth of bubble wrap, wrapped the crap out of it, then had fedex wrap it MORE in front of me. when the guy got it, he powered it up and used it for a short time before it blew up.
hispls Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 From 25 years of experience and observation I can safely say that buying electronics based on price per advertized watt will almost invariably end in disappointment. Pay now or pay later.
