ok, i tried this a few times now with no prevalent luck. hopefully i can get some help here :-)

ok, i have-

- 1 Logic TXP3000d amp

- 2 Rockford Fosgate 12" P3 dual 4 ohm voice coil subs

- Vehicle is a 1998 s10 blazer 2 door

- max available space is 20h x 18d x 35w

- if possible i want the subs to fire upwards, and the port to fire rearward, if not that's ok

- music listened to most is metal, but desired outcome is obviously max spl

this is in a prefab ported box, but its a crappy box, its loud, but i kno it can be louder with the rite box, so if someone would please help, i will b very greatfull...

thank you for the time..

What is a dd-1 ?

It's an easy to use device that helps you setting your gains properly, it can save your subs from cooking due to amp clipping, if you don't/can't want to buy one, someone on this forum living near you who owns the DD-1 can help you setting your gains with the device. So that you know what is it here's a link:

I just want to forward you some infos before you get into building your box.

So this is just a sample design for a dual tuning box, I have set a low tuning of 34Hz with one pipe plugged or 40Hz with all pipes open, optionally you can build a removable port for the box so that you can tune to other frequencies. TO NOTE, this is not a spl box since those are setup with a termlab and the parameters of the box are changed at test time. Your amp subsonic filter should be set no more than 5 Hz below tuning during the tests or thermal/mechanical failure of subs may occur. Also if you don't have proper power and gains properly set thermal/mechanical failure or amp damage can occur so be advised.

Minimum port clearance = 4"
