Sutliff
make sure to brace the roof and windshield, they are pretty weak on that car. No shit ... Rolling stock too ... especially when OEM is either 12" or 13" rims! Ugh! I will admit a good friend of mine in high school got one for a high school grad present from parents & he & I jumped in it here in Central New York & rammed down the NY State Thruway to the Mass State TurnPike on the way to Loudon, NH for the July '93 NASCAR race. I remember him (Mike) sleeping on the way home, & I had that 13-inch-wheeled, 3-cylinder fucker right out on tilt on the Pike as close to 80mph as I could hold the tiny accelerator pedal with my big, 6' 5" foot almost hitting the brake pedal at the same time cuz they were/are so close to each other!! I swear I had to have made a near land-speed-record in that thing between Loudon & Syracuse, NY. Mike woke up & thought we were like in Albany ... I was getting off the Thruway in Syracuse, ... Albany was 2 hours behind us. Sorry ... did not mean to hijack ... or hope this does not lead to a hijacking, or a bunch of Geo Metro stories, but I just had to share that ... I just remember that car ... doors, roof, hood, tailgate, etc., being paper thin. I believe his radio was FM only. lol. OK, I am done ... But I am also Tuned In!!!
