alaskanzx5
I only have experience with dynamat extreme but figured I can give advice. well placed deadener can go further then co wrong everything when it come to keeping cost down rubber washer or simply putting stuff between things that rattle up against each other works. expending foam would add weight to the trunk lid and stiffen up the panels some. when you do it find one of the biggest rattles place some deadener then test and repeat until a you get most of the major rattles then start on the small rattles. second skin bstock is fairly cheap and people seem to get great results for it. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. jdshott
The fat mat looks ok . But check around, second skin and sound qubed are proven choices . as Alaskanzx5 said placement makes a world of difference,, No 1 But me paid for this stuff and NO FREEBIES so no brand names (No Free Advertisement ) A SQ head unit 6 5.25 2 X 6x9s 7804 P400.4 4001D 1 34s (Maybe time to change brand) 4 X 15" s !/0 @ 2/0 OFC Wiring :morepower1: :morepower1: ill say it like i always say it. F##K the DD-1. I don't care if you or anyone buys one. (well i do, but that isn't my point) Get an O-scope in the very minimum and learn how to use it or you are just guessing your settings like every other noob. once you master the O-scope then step up to a DD-1 or even better a DD-1 Plus. alaskanzx5
Look at there bstock options, its the same stuff just doesn't meet there quality standards for them to sell it at the same price. some of the things on why they sell it for less are, no uniform thickness, gaps/missing spots of foil, and maybe even little things like small wrinkles in the foil or deadener itself. The product is still made from the same materials just under what they set the quality they want in their product. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
