basshead
quantum amps are decent but waaaay overrated i sell quantum and they are very dependable i haven't had one come back to tha shop yet but like i said they are very overrated and IMO i would say go with the MA im not sure about it but i think it puts out a little more wattage
Team Sundown's Charles
Quantum are a shit!!! My cusin has 2 of the 1500 rms one pushing 4 CVR 15" Kicker and I hit harder then him with one L7 15 and a Kicker ZX1500.1. IMO it would be better to get a real good amp and a lesser subwoofer then the other way around. A good amp will make a lesser speaker sound good. But a shit amp will make a good speaker sound like shit. Beside you more likely kill your speaker by putting an amp on it that can't drive it like it should be. You are more likely to push the amp hard and sending a distorted signal to your speaker. Do yourself a favor get the best amp you can and maybe look at a cheaper speaker. It will cost you less to upgrage the sub later then it would to upgrade the amp. 1993 Mazda Mx-3 Subs: 2 18" DC Audio Lvl 4 D.7 Highs amp: Sundown SAX-100.4 Sub amp: Sundown SAZ-3000D Electrical:Kinetik 1200 under hood, 2-Kinetik 2400 rear All 1/0 KnuKonceptz Wire Power/Ground, Big 3, 8Ga Speaker Wire, KnuKonceptz Karma RCA's Dampening: 120sqft 80Mil Thick Sound Destroyer Mat Goal: 150 DB 149.9 Street Bass
jonathancullen89
the speakers are cheap, just power hungry. i just need something that will push at least 2kwrms. 1992 cavalier build 1992 blazer s10 kenwood cd hifonics hfi2500d 6 soon to be 12 12" hifonics hfi12d4's shit ton-o-wire Blurred Vision Audio Team SMD feedback/refs. clicky!-
jonathancullen89
i just need something that will make them move for now, lowest possible would be 1.5kwrms at 1 ohm, when i get the money i want to get a rf t2k and recone them. but that will be by the end of summer and my four 12" just are doing it for me. 1992 cavalier build 1992 blazer s10 kenwood cd hifonics hfi2500d 6 soon to be 12 12" hifonics hfi12d4's shit ton-o-wire Blurred Vision Audio Team SMD feedback/refs. clicky!-
tejcurrent
I would just save in general. When you look back after upgrading your amps you'll wish you'd just held out for the bigger amp. It'll make all the difference, and selling your old one will take time and lose you money. A guy near me has 3 quantum 15s on 3 quantum 3ks sealed in the trunk of a crown vic and there isn't that much difference from that and my wifes single ported 12 and 1000rms. Could be install, but that's a lot more "power" and cone area to sound so similar. I'd hold out for what you want the first time around. You in NC or SC carolinacartel? tejcurrent XS Power T3

Team Sundown's Charles
You in NC or SC carolinacartel?I'm in NCjonathancullen89 If you already have 4- 12's why not just take your money and buy the RF 2k now and wait until you have more money to get the subs. That way you will already have the amp to push the sub right. I don't know how deep your pockets are but that makes more scents to me. If you want to make upgrade plan them out. That way you aren't buying the same things over and over. The RF may make you change your mind about changeing subs. Like I said a good amp makes cheap speakers sound better. Ps is you probe a GT? If it is our car have the same motors 1993 Mazda Mx-3 Subs: 2 18" DC Audio Lvl 4 D.7 Highs amp: Sundown SAX-100.4 Sub amp: Sundown SAZ-3000D Electrical:Kinetik 1200 under hood, 2-Kinetik 2400 rear All 1/0 KnuKonceptz Wire Power/Ground, Big 3, 8Ga Speaker Wire, KnuKonceptz Karma RCA's Dampening: 120sqft 80Mil Thick Sound Destroyer Mat Goal: 150 DB 149.9 Street Bass
