Is this a good battery?

Marine battery, I don't see these very often in the audio world but just picked it up from the interstate place by my work on break for 140 bucks it's 125ah and about 100 pounds just brought it inside my work to take the pic

All my amps and batts are in the toolbox so size isn't an issue lol plus I sold my old batts so have been bass less for a minute an it seemed like a good choice

Ive never seen that before but it depends on how many watts youre running..sure it'll work but 125ah is alot the xs power d3100s have 110ah..so id say it should be able to handle around 4-5000watts as long as its an agm..hook it up and see how steady your voltage is ..youre only starting to use battery power after you dip below resting voltage (12.8-12.6)

I don't know if it can handle that much power, but if it's an agm and for that amount of AH at 140 bucks it's pretty good. I do remember reading somewhere that AH isn't the end-all be-all when it comes to batteries for car audio. Also, just wanna say, that's a big ass battery.

Looks like it's a wet cell only because of the caps where the acid is poured into the battery. I could be totally wrong.

But if I am right, then wet cell batteries aren't the best choice for audio applications because they aren't designed to be constantly under load whereas AGM batteries are.

I just installed a deka 8a4d which cost 390 not bad for almost 200 ah. And its working great so far.

I've been playing mine since the day I made the thread and it's been doing great never really any drop unless I go full tilt for a min but seems like it'll do fine for the price
