But ppl are sayin it's gonna be a terrible ride, I'll get 7 miles to the gallon, and it will destroy my truck. So I just want to know if that's true because if so I'll just go with 26s. Thanks.

Ram Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 can confirm. i had a 2012 tahoe on 26s. 7mpg and terrible ride is correct. but if youre worried about gas mileage, why buy a truck in the first place.

lowrider77 Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 i recently put 28s on my 10 escalade with 275/25r28 tires and honestly it rides not to bad def no were like stock and gas mileage hasn't really changed but keep in mind mines got the active fuel managment (v4 on the highway)
yotabass1 Posted December 8, 2014 Report Posted December 8, 2014 i got 28s on my 07 avalanche the ride is good just watch the bumps and holes. i get 16mpg hgy and 11 in city. i had 30s which I'm going back to it got 18mpg on hgwy and 10 in city. i like the 30series on the 30 inch rims better 2007 chevy avalanche triple singer 350s, pioneer avhx4800bs, 14 krome ka8s 4 st50 4 st30 tweeters, pro ad4000.1 crescendo 800.4 crossfire xs8k 3 15s tbd blow through ported
