Blaze92 Posted May 29, 2014 Report Posted May 29, 2014 Ok guys, I currently have a spare amp I'm wanting to put to good use; Alpine MRX-M50 (500w RMS @ 2 Ohm, or 300w RMS @ 4 Ohm). I'm wanting to power one of these sub combo's below in a sealed box on a 2 ohm load. x2 Alpine Type-S 10" 10D2 2 Ohm (300-500w RMS rated) ... OR ... x1 Alpine Type-R 10" 10D4 4 Ohm (300-1000w RMS) Would either of these choice's be an ideal match without having too much strain on the amp's output causing it to under-power them. Thanks in advance.
