TG717 Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Going to be building my first box for a soundqubed hds315. Besides the wood (3/4" mdf) I really dont know what else I will need. Screws obviously, but is there a certain kind I want? Any glue? If you could make a list of items I should use that would be great. Not planing on any carpet on it. Maybe down the road.
timc31610 Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Titebond 2 or 3 glue. Clamps if you don't have them already. T-Nuts and bolts for the sub (not necessary but great if you plan on pulling it occasionally). timc31610 Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 I would use 1.5" drywall screws and predrill. Screws aren't necessary if your cuts are straight and you have a lot of clamps.
