Pro7 Posted June 5, 2014 Report Share Posted June 5, 2014 I would rather save the 2/0 for longer runs because 1/0 would be plenty for the big 3 unless you are running multiple HO alts. It can't hurt but it is a waste of 2/0 if you could use 1/0 instead. Running 2/0 to the back and 1/0 from the battery bank to the amps is perfectly fine but if you have enough 2/0 you can use 2/0 reducers at the amp end so you can have the best wire all the way into the amps. Thats the way that I would do it but 1/0 works too. What amps batts and alts are you running?
