Weird Electrical Issue

2005 Pontiac G6 GT

I have a weird situation in my car. Hope some of you guys can help me out.
1) If I have my AC unplugged my car starts up fine like if it was brand new. As soon as I plug the AC back in it chokes a bit or may turn on the electrical but the engine won't be on? Can it be a bad front battery?

2) My car has a bad habit of the tail running lights and tag lights going out. The fuse doesn't blow they just go out and then come back one whenever they feel like it. I've noticed that they go out whenever it rains. I also have noted that the left tail light has about a half inch or so separation from the body of the car along the top from where I was hit before.

  • Do you guys think water is running into the electrical components and shorting them?
  • Is it weird the fuse isn't blowing?
  • If that's the issue could I potentially just seal the gap with electric tape and water proof caulking?

pics?

Fixed both issues.

1) I guess the battery just needed some charging it hadn't ran for like two weeks after running the car for quite a bit it runs like a champ now.

2) I had got hit and some half ass mechanic replaced my taillight I never bothered to check it so first thing I did was check the fuses. The fuse had blown who knows how long ago but had been tied togethor by some sort of wire so it was still conducting electircity (wtf right?) So I replaced that. I then checked the taillights and realized all the nuts were missing but one which wasn't even tightened so I had to go out to HD and buy new nuts and fix that. Smh
