tooloudfortv
try to figure out where u went wrong when u calculated for port length and from the sounds of it if i were u id even up the tunning to around 36-7hz. should be an dramatic increase in output
SPL2K
go down to about 8 cubes and tune to 38-40. Quote Michael Hughes = 6X SPL World Champion - Loudest on the planet in db Drag, USACi, and IASCA.
tooloudfortv
ok well now that we've found my problem can anybody design me a new box that will actually be tuned at 34hz or whatever FI recommends just go inside ur box and cut some port length off and do other improvments into ur box that u missed. u dont have to start an new box. do 45 degree corners in EVERY corner of the box, id also glass the whole inside of the box too. tooloudfortv
go down to about 8 cubes and tune to 38-40. now that box there would give u some SICK numbers!!!!!! if ur looking for something more painful than ur setup now thats the route to go! ur low end want be anywhere close to where its at now but the overall output would be an night and day difference

Still awesome for dialy for me, still low and creates a crap load of pressure. But nothing like my spl burp box tuned to 68hz!!! Loud daily box that hurts and sounds good is the best! bumpin04voy
if i go down to 8cu ft isnt that gunna be way to small...they recommend a minimum of 5cubes for each sub... and the port is 42.5x5x17.5 Quote Avic N1 rockford 400.4 type-r comps all around (2) 18" Fi BTLs fully loaded 11 cu ft. vented box 34hz (2)RD Audio 1750.1 (4) optimas
