Bryan88 Posted June 14, 2014 Report Posted June 14, 2014 Whats going on fellas, I am currently working on remaking a box for my wifes 10" Audiopipe that I installed in her 08 Civic, its currently running on a Audiopipe 1,500watt amp but the box is not being helpful with the bass. I looked up the the specs on the sub and its asking for a 1.5 cu. Ft. Ported enclosure, I would like to make some numbers to keep the box as small as possible but give the sub what it needs. Any suggestions on dimensions and port size? Currently is in a box of 20x14x14 with a port of 1"W x 12.5" long Any help and suggestions would be great!

Joe X Posted June 14, 2014 Report Posted June 14, 2014 Tuning seemed high (about 39Hz) and port area kind of low, the following should improve those issues, power: to sub rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, port clearance 1 1/2", figure is just an assembly guide:
Bryan88 Posted June 15, 2014 Author Report Posted June 15, 2014 Thanks for the info fellas, Joe thanks for the design definitely will be trying this setup...
