I got at least a 1/8 inch thick inside my box maybe a bit more, 3 semi thick coats for sure. just dont go to thick per coat otherwise when the resin is curing it will crack depending on how much hardener you use it gets kinda hot. Its not going to build strength untill you actually use fiberglass mat. Everyone puts resin in there boxes for better airflow not for strength. Decaf Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 so what are you going to do if the 100sqin total of port for (4) 15"s isnt enough even if it is 18cuft net, thats only ~6.25 sqin of port per cubic foot... i thought it was suppose to be minimum of 12cuft or are u trying out the aeroport theory that the reduced velocity means u need less port surface area? either way, should slam, cant wait for vids
