Fed off an alpine at 4ohms can feed it 700w rms I've got to get some more mid bass which I'm working on with stuffing closed cell foam in the doors like so On shopping list once I've moved HU amp component set still to decide on and Maybe earthquake sws 6.5 in rear doors, the DC 8m3 will be coming first before I move got my priorities sorted lol Besides on with the car I will be stripping it down removing all rust etc hopefully get the 24v engine and full mk4 wiring loom but that's a long way away Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This golf It's the only car in the last 9 years that has stayed mechanically standard for more than a month lol When I started using it as my DD since November 2013 milage was just under 59k and now it's on 73k you can imagine fuel cost lol Question on the dash tweets would you fit some co ax in there? teamSPB Posted July 3, 2014 Report Share Posted July 3, 2014 If you are running components in the front, then stick with 2 say and put the tweeters in the dash. I wouldnt run coaxs up there personally. The dash is a strange shape on these...the driver side tweeter sits alot higher than the passenger side due to the shape of the dash.
