I'm making this for a friend, he has a honda civic 7th gen. It's 4 door.

What is loudest in that car besides walling. He has a custom hdc4 18 and custom zv4 15

If anyone had this car and knows what's loudest please post what you had in there as well as pics if possible

Tell him I said he needs 4 6.5's. That is the only way he will get loud. lol

In the trunk, there will be enough room for a 15" in a box with the appropriate dimensions as far as air space and for port ratio. If he were to do an 18", it would most likely have to be a sub up box design, but then either the trunk lid or the rear deck are gonna take a beating, that's even if you can squeeze an 18" in there while taking account of the displacement in a proper box. You can always build the box in the trunk, but it will be a pain in the ass lol

He had his 18 in there with sub up port firing in cabin

Like what is loudest so to speak

Box all the back firing into cabin?

Subs firing into cabin with side port?

Or subs up port back?

He will have proper port area for either sub

To be honest, probably the single 15 for space and proper everything.

I can only speak on my own personal experience, but I did sub and port firing forward, pushed as far back as possible. Sounded great and got decently loud.

Had to sell it all before I got a chance to seal it off correctly. I can only imagine it would have gotten louder, there's a lot...A LOT of nooks and crannies back there to seal off with great stuff.
