TaylorFade Posted July 11, 2014 Report Posted July 11, 2014 Hi Guys/gals, Thanks for the help and advise... just an update after building and testing the box with entry level woofers first this is what i achieved. 1st test amp gain 75% no LPF 149.1 2nd test amp gain 75% LPF about 30% 149.7 3rd test amp gain 75% LPF about 45% one click before amp goes into clipping 149.9 i have some pics as well. Not sure how to post the pics though. Hmm... you might want to check your output voltage (unloaded) whilst adjusting the LPF. That doesn't sound right at all. Sounds backwards to me.
realsoundillusion Posted July 14, 2014 Report Posted July 14, 2014 Thank you guys, I found the actual problem, had a break in the RCA swapped them out and now the LPF when turned up makes no difference at all.
