alaskanzx5
I did say not to divide the chambers. One chamber 2 subs. Fully external port. if he has 6cuft net before port and with the divider for the chambers then without the divider he will gain a little. Not much but he would have more net volume using 2-4 dowels rather then a wall to divide chambers. Then he could use a single 10" port. op, I'm getting 5.91cuft total with a divider for 2 chambers. That's 2.95 per. Without the divider you get 6.13cuft. in order to at least have rockfords recommended port area you just about have to have a fully external port. imo, go taller by about 2" and do a slot port on the driver or passenger side rear firing subs up. Something like 15.5" high 6-7" wide then the length needed to get wanted tuning and stay above 6cuft net. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. DatDude619
Box is 45w 44.25 with internal brace. 15 high 21 deep 6.50cu. Woofer displacement is .474 knocking it down to 6.02 (3.01) per chamber. Rockford recoments 2.66cu each so if ports are more than .34 then the woofers are getting inverted giving me .80 for ports worst case sererio. Dont like inverting but live and learn. Box is built and aero is still the goal. I will figure something out thanks for the suggestions.
