What type of power do i need?

In the very near future I plan on installing two Fi Bl 15's fully loaded, with two crescendo bc2000d's also a crescendo s550/2 for mids...

My question is, what kind of power do I need? I have a 250 amp alternator and a XS 3400 that will go under the hood when everything is hooked up ready to go, How many extra batteries do I need and which ones, since XS has quite a few to choose from , money is an issue...

And I am getting all sky high wire, but I don't know if I should get 1/0 or 2/0 and how many runs?

What are the ratings on that alt? I'd run at least 1 extra batt in back, preferably 2 (dependent on the $$ ur working with). And a single run of high count 1/0 per amp should suffice with no issues.

TDZ13 - what do you mean ratings?

alright ONE run of 2/0 ofc , and I will try to get two XS D925's for extras in the back, If I do get two batteries I want to have mini buss bars for them, anyone know where I can get the aluminum or copper at?

If your alternator is not putting out more than 300 amps I've never seen any reason to run any more than one run of OFC 1/0 front to back. 2 runs won't make a difference unless you have more than a battery up front.

Are you running the amps bridged at 2ohm or running them lower? I'd start with a D3100 in the back and see what happens. Unless you're wiring über low that should suffice.
