Help me choose components for 2007 civic OEM integration

What's up guys, I been out the car audio game since 08 and dont't know what brands are good. I'm trying to do a SQ stealth system in my 07 civic SI but I want to integrate it with the stock stereo. I want to use a digital sound processor like the RF 3sixty.2 but want to make sure there isn't anything newer and cheaper. I also only want to run a single 5 channel amp with some quality comps up front and some mids in the rear and 1 sub(10"-12"). Been looking online but I feel lost since it's been a while. My budget is $1500 MAX...Can you guys give me some suggestions please?!?! Thanks!!!

go to some local competitions and listen or to a local store and listen. Nobody can tell you what you like to hear.

I figured I would ask on here since I know most of the guys in forums can be more helpful and offer more insight. I don't want to go to best buy and hear some noob talk about why "Sony" is the ish.... Thanks for the suggestion tho .

go to a local car audio shop and ignore what they try to sell you. Listen to different sets of speakers and decide what you like. Take your own music and use that. The thing is, nobody else can tell you what you like to hear except you, no matter how much anyone else knows.

ok looking back at my post it seems people like yourself might interpret it as "I need help finding component speakers" which is not the case. My questions is more like "help me design a system" but since I have not been paying attention to car audio for the last six years I no longer know what brands are good or bad. When I used to be into car audio companies like Image Dynamics, RE, DD, Diamond etc..... were good. Is that still the case nowadays? My main concern and what I would like to know is what iis a good digital processor nowadays, and would like to know what brands make a good and affordable 5 channel amp and are RE subs still good. I like the RF 3sixty.2 but can't find one and the RF 3sixty.3 is overkill for my app. Thanks Skippy.

Couple of questions come to mind.

A. How stealth, like stock head unit stealthbox subwoofer can't see anything stealth??? Or just no crazy stuff, stock location stealth?

B. You mention a processor. I'm not 100% sure you need one. If you don't mind an aftermarket head unit, you can get some really advanced setup features for a lot less money than a 360.2 or 360.3. If on the other hand you're keeping the stock head unit (see above question) then you'll need something to integrate this five channel into your setup.

C. As was mentioned above, you're going to want to listen to speakers in person before you buy. I personally am an unapologetic Infinity whore(based on what sounds good to my ears), but there are LOTS of other options out there.

Answer A and B, and we'll start to get an idea at least of what kinds of equipment you need. Brand, as mentioned, will take some research and listening for you to determine.
