CobraGolf Posted July 20, 2014 Report Posted July 20, 2014 Hey everyone. Let me give you a rundown of my current setup to start off Head unit , basic pioneer deck (forgot the model) Speakers (hertz hi energy 6.5 components Comp amp incriminator audio ia3.4 Sub , sundown sa 10 in a 1.3cuft ported box Sub amp precision power sedona 850.1 All of this is in a single cab 99 f150. Im just not gettting the performance out of the sa that im really wanting. Im thinking about going to 2 10s sealed to get a cleaner crisper more sq sound. Would you jump into diifferent subs or play arouund with a different box first?
Agreene Posted July 20, 2014 Report Posted July 20, 2014 the sa series work great in sealed boxes. cant go wrong with them and you already have 1. another company I would check out is DAD audio, most would consider them to be the mythical SQL subs
CobraGolf Posted July 20, 2014 Author Report Posted July 20, 2014 Thats what im thinking about doing first. Im planning on keeping my same amp for a while. I might start to build a sealed box tomorrow and see how it goes

If they were that great, i'm pretty sure many more people would be running them. The term SQL is mythical in itself. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
