What happened to high 140s you were promised?! lol The high 140's are definitely possible but I said that would happen out of a burp box on the amp they are running. With the box I run and the same that I gave them more power is required to do better numbers on top of all the other variables. I need to get my hands on the setup and it will be there for sure. One thing that wasn't mentioned is that they went with dual 4's instead of dual 2's. That as well as other things that aren't my place to talk about, but I can only do what has worked in my car to help out. The fact that they showed up to a show with 0 testing what so ever makes a huge difference too. I'm also running a different deck, a larger battery, and have knowledge of little tricks that will gain SPL such as where to hold the car and position the seats etc... This is stuff that wasn't done that is proven to add SPL. Also I'm positive that the AQ2200 needs tuned properly, which I've already discussed with them about. Jskiles Posted October 21, 2014 Author Report Share Posted October 21, 2014 So for the last month we have been testing and building new boxes like crazy to get ready for Dbdrag world finals. Found out that adding deadening to the hatch we lost 4dbs at nspl finals. Since then the highest score we could get was 143.3db with all the boxes we built except one that we didnt get to test yet which we brought with us along with the box nightshade built in case the untested box was good. Scored a 144.6 with 700 watts clamped for her qualifying run and 147db with 1800 watts clamped for her elimination round. She is running DC lvl3 12s with xl coils and we got another radio for better control during bass race.
