I love em. They laugh at rated rms. I've heard quite a few different setups and these definitely hold their own against much more expensive speakers. And they have no problems being tuned low. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Granted, I haven't had other brands in my vehicle for a direct comparison as I try to plan my setup so I don't have to keep bouncing from one model sub to another, because I simply can't afford it at this point.

I'm now running two Vfl 120.1's strapped at .5 ohm a piece. It metered a 143.3 @25hz with one window down which is meh. Sounds good, so thats all that matters. Gonna build a new box tuned to like 36hz with a little more port area and actually take my time building it and not throw it together in one day like this one lol

So Pioneerforlife brought his spl meter over and we retested the truck. Got a 144.4 out of it with drivers window down.

And outlaw style, scored a 146.4 @ 40hz and 146 flat @30hz was suprised to see the better #'s than from the last test.

Screwing around earlier, even though i lost on the meter, I am loving the overall sound of the new box arrangement. The bandwidth is awesome now. I can bang out full tilt up to the 50 hz range and all the way down to the mid 20 hz range. the RTA on the termlab was pretty dang flat from 30-50 hz
