IMHO To separate the batts when the ignition is off?? Lets assume your amps are 80% efficient meaning to produce 3000 watts you need an input of 3750 watts. 3750 w @ 13v (average) is 288 amps. This is the amperage you need at full tilt. But of-course music draws less but you can use that as a reference point.
