bassaholic Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 so i see in the online manual it says the crescendo bc2000d will go in protect mode if more than 4v is ran to it from preamp. is it possible to run an eq with it or not. my eq has a preamp output of 7v, and im looking at 2 hu with 5v output. even if i go for a 4v hu, what about running the eq. why would they shut off at above 4 volts, my other amps dont. my eq is a clarion eqs746 btw.

bassaholic Posted August 19, 2014 Author Report Posted August 19, 2014 ok so its all about setting gain on amp, doesnt matter if the output is 5v or 7v, as long as on the amp gain it isnt seeing more than 4 volts. so i could run my 7v eq, as long as the gain is set at 4v or below on amp, correct?
