so i went to the auto shop to find out why my car was starting hard, and they did a few tests on the alt, battery etc, so they results came in that it was because the battery life was completely dead at 0% and the charge was at 80% he told me it was because i have my power wire hooked up to my battery itself and i should put a capacitor to solve this issue is this correct? or is there a better was so it does not kill my battery again?

Take it to a battery place that knows what they're doing.

Caps unless you have HUGE banks of them don't FIX anything. There's tons of threads about that on here.

Either your battery is fucked, your alternator is fucked, or you've got a parasitic draw.

To me it sounds like you need to have your battery restored and trickle charged for a long time. Not 30amps for 20 minutes.

Bring it to a battery place and they can do that for you if you don't have a charger.

Or, go get a "Battery tender" and it'll do the work for you without overcharging. Then you can plug it in every now and then just to make sure it's topped up.

About 30 bucks where I am.
