just got all the bracing done. i will never do this again while the box is already installed in the truck,it was a pita!

Hey, what did you use to attach down the flanges? (bolts, screws....?)

i just used some self tapping screws, and i believe some loctite adhesive.

preview, the pods arent lining up completely right with the doors. there is a gap on the backside,don't no were i went wrong,but at least you can't really see it with the doors closed.

Yeah, same here! I still have to lay all the deadening material down which is gonna be a pain. And since I have to pull out the floor for that, I'm planning on running electrical at the same time. Was tempted to call off work tomorrow to do it since it's gonna be nice out haha

Also, figured out bracing for the front baffle....posting it in my log in a few minutes.....

If you would have wanted to fix that type of gap behind the pod, easiest is to use some bondo, like Rage Gold. Mask off the door well, mount the pod, add bondo to assure 'no gaps', then sand down, preferrably with some extra 1/32 inch to leave space for vinyl wrapping.

Just a tip for future pod builds.

i feel like an idiot. pods were so hard to wrap because i got the cloth backed vinyl.gonna have to go back to the fabric store and pic a different color,sucks these matched the interior perfectly.it was the only piece they had in this color.there are some wrinkles that i just can't get out.
